Quick something to tide you over...

Hey - I'm still in the process of taking a massive amount of pictures. I basically have hundreds to go through and pick out because i'm doing so many different activities (I'm also waiting on Zorbing pictures. If you dont know what Zorbing is you're in for a surprise).

Here are a few pictures in the mean time until I get it all sorted, just to 'whet your palette.' Be prepared for a huge post.

Above is a picture of the entire group of students that I traveled on the plane with. Each person here is studying at one of 3 main colleges: Otago, Auckland and Wiekata or something like that. Can you find me? I'm giving the 'rawk' sign, which also apparently is a gang sign here. The other day i made the rock on sign with my hand and a kiwi flipped out on me and said never to do that. It is a really bad gang sign here haha, and what i'm supposed to do instead is make the 'hang 10' sign.

Here is a picture of just the Auckland students. I see at least one of these people every day.

Heres me at a rugby game: Blues vs Reds. The Blues are Auckland's team. The Reds are from the south island. The All Blacks is the team for the entire country of new zealand. I was going to see that game in June, but tix are $120 so I think I'll use that money elsewhere.


I took a ferry to an island called Davenport 15 minutes across the harbor. I went with 3 girls and we checked out some restaurants, and this old anchor.. sweet.


Heres a picture of the city as we were coming in from Devenport on the ferry. I'm going to take some high res pictures of the city very soon.
